      Finding your way to the BEAMS Festival is easy as there are a number of transport options. Taking public transport is highly recommended.

      Pedestrian access

      Chippendale is a short 10 minute walk from the George St side of Central Station, walking down Broadway and turning left onto Abercrombie St. It is a 2 minute walk from Abercrombie St to the first festival entrance on Dick St. Other entrances can be found at the beginning of Little Queen St and Teggs Lane.

      Another option is to walk down Regent St and enter through the entrances at Wellington St, Queen St, Henrietta St and at the roundabout of Balfour St.

      NOTE: The festival is a licensed venue and no alcohol can be brought into the grounds.

      By Bike

      Bikes can be locked up on the surrounding streets.

      Wheelchair Access

      Wheelchair access is available throughout the festival area.

      By train or bus

      The closest train stations are Central and Redfern, each being approximately the same difference apart.

      Buses can be caught along George St and Broadway, with the closest stop to get out at being in front of the Central Park Pavilion and the Abercrombie Hotel. From here it is a 2-minute walk.

      The closest parking available is street park, although there will be road closures on the day which may affect availability and access to close street parking. Public transport is strongly recommended as a more convenient option.
